Getting a Destiny Puppy
Thank you for your interest in my puppies. It's my goal that every Destiny puppy become a cherished and valued family member so long as he or she lives. To achieve this goal, potential homes are very carefully screened in order to match just the right pup with just the right home. I reserve the right to not sell a puppy for any reason. As well, I always reserve the right to keep the pick pup for my breeding program. Deposits are nonrefundable in certain situations but can be transferred to my next litter.
Mine is a very small breeding program, producing one or two litters per year. It's very important to me to find responsible, lifelong homes. I strive to breed the best possible dogs – those that have great temperaments and great health. Below are some things for you to consider during your search for a puppy:

I strive to breed the best possible dogs – those that have great temperaments and great health. Below are some things for you to consider during your search for a puppy:
- All puppies are cute. I am a committed advocate of responsible breeding practices. A puppy is for life and I ask you to make that long term commitment.
- I ask that you research the Australian Shepherd / Miniature American Shepherd breeds thoroughly. They are not for everyone – they are active, inquisitive and challenging. Occasionally, they do not adapt well to a modern urban environment. They require lots and lots of human and other animal interaction and training to develop into pleasurable companions. Please remember that what you get out of your relationship with your Aussie is fully dependent upon what you put into early and on-going training and socialization.
- I ask that you have a fenced, secure yard where your Aussie will be safe and get a lot of exercise.
- I offer a rebate for obtaining the AKC Good Canine Certificate.
- Your puppy is guaranteed healthy and disease free when it is released to you at 8 to 9 weeks of age.
- The pup will come to you fully guaranteed for the genetic traits for which I test. I will replace your puppy at no charge with a puppy of equal value (except expenses for shipping, health certificate and shipping crate, if needed) should either circumstance arise for the lifetime of the pup.
- If, for any reason you cannot keep your puppy or dog, you can return him or her to me anytime during its lifetime or I'll assist you with finding a great new home, whichever you prefer.
- I utilize the Breeding Better Dogs ("Developing High Achievers") method by Dr. Carmen Battaglia to rear pups (early neurological stimulation). Your puppy will have a distinct advantage toward his or her future development and training.
- Puppies are well socialized when they leave my home. They are raised underfoot in my home with lots of contact with friends and other friendly pets, as well. They will have had their first set of shots, been wormed, and had a thorough veterinary check up.
- All my adult breeding dogs are in superb health and are my personal companions who share my home with me. My co-owned dogs are my partners' personal companions, as well.
- I am sorry, I currently don't ship puppies unless they are breeding/show puppies. Please come to meet and pick up your puppy in person. I am available to meet at halfway locations into California, Nevada, Oregon and Utah for a reasonable fee.
